Dearest fabled masses of the world...
Today my post is dedicated to only one of you, my friend, Pene-lope.
My love I will miss you, dearest star.
You who have taught me to use the wings that I have grown and trust the heart that betrays me so. You have all of me. And soon your life will start again, anew. I only wish to share with you some feeble words that I have to say about you.
I remember you:
The girl so bold and proud, wearing a white tee and shorts the first day I formally met you. Your eyes wide and bright and so I ask you, how I will I ever forget you?
I remember your sleeping bench outside Dulce and your laughter. I remember our drunken serenades and McDonald’s Morning afters. I remember our bold quests to win the hearts of those who never deserved ours in the first place. I remember bowling and I remember dancing with you in Cyrildene...you are my family of trees. . .Si tu no Vuelves....time after time.
I remember you teaching me not to fear, even though you feared as well...I will never let it happen.
I will not find someone like you...because you are all I could wish for in a friend.
I remember twilight and the laughter, inception and the desire. I remember district 9 and the sweetie man...I rememer McFassy
I remember your tears...
Most of all I remember you...and now that your life has begun, remember me...the boy you taught to become a man...
I love you Patricia Hamilton-Nadal.
Here are words I have chosen for this moment, this memory: heed them well...cos this is gonna hurt like hell.....Florence and the machine...dog days
.
