Letting go to the darkness within

Letting go to the darkness within

As the dragon leaves the tiger’s snare, I too must release you to take wind. But I fear not the loss of your heart, it was never mine to begin with. Now I find that in you place there were ten thousand different faces but none held my gaze the way you once did. Even so, all storms pass dearest, and so has yours.
Strangely still, that in your break that tore my world to shreds another has taken your place. She is the wild child that calls to me and so I tell the world once more that the heart heals and become so much stronger than ever before.

Let the fable begin.

In the darkest of woods I walked. Shadows merged with shadows and time became as constant and the silence that was carried under canopies of dreams. My heart raced and fear filled my soul. I came upon the ruins of a dream; a castle old and forgotten. I walked the faded passages and traced the fallen walls until I found a hope of a dream, faded by the raping of time. I found the darkness within my own soul.

It is a wild magic as true as gold.

Her dark hair fell heavily about her, covering her shameless form. Sadness embodied in a woodland sprite at first I thought. And then she turned and I saw how tears of blood marred her pale cheeks. Oh white demon do not steal my soul...she looked upon me as a child. She looked to me for life. I knew what she was then.
Her soft skin, cold and hard, but sweet and sensual ensnared my senses. In her eyes I found freedom. I found myself moving to meet her, and she pulled away. My darkness, my vampiress....my princess of the night. I heard her whispers like siren songs, while her incisors shine as whimsically as frozen stars.

‘Why have you come here?’ she asked.

‘You called and I came.’

Suddenly the ruins turned to pools of blood and her naked form covered in red life. Baby’s breath kissed her brow and desire filled her eyes. Could I deny her? Should I even try?
In the morning we’d different and be of another kind.
But tonight we are the same, and tonight you are be mine.
